TRANSLATION OF DOCUMENTS
Almost all foreign documents that will be used in Japan (for registration of marriage, visa application, etc.) must be submitted with its translation. For those foreign nationals living in Japan who need their Japanese documents (example: income tax certificate, employment certificate, family registry of Japanese spouse, etc.) be translated to Japanese (for purchase of properties, civil registration, etc., in their own countries), we offer translation services for Japanese to English/Filipino/Chinese and English/Filipino/Chinese to Japanese documents.
Documents issued by the Japan government (example: family registry of Japanese spouse, income tax certificate, civil registrations, etc.) that will be used by the foreign national in their own country or abroad must be submitted for authentication to the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Certification Section and afterwards to their respective embassies to prove its validity (some documents do not need to be authenticated by the embassy). Translations of these Japan government issued documents must be notarized first before acquiring authentication of the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
